Trade Paperback Edition: Gulliver's Travels

PROJECT BRIEF

Next November 30th will mark the 350th birthday of Jonathan Swift, widely regarded as the greatest prose satirist in the English language, and a call for the redesign a cover for a new trade paperback edition of Swift's masterpiece, Gulliver's Travels. 

concept

The image explores a classic passage detailing the years of barbarity and stupidity which stem from two monarch’s disagreement over which end of a hard-boiled egg is the more appropriate end to break.

CIVILWARLAND: IN BAD DECLINE

PROJECT BRIEF

Redesign a cover for a trade paperback edition of Civil War Land in Bad Decline: Stories and a Novella, with a solution interpreted from the content and/or style of the novel and/or the author.

CONCEPT

Within the satirical stories which make up the book, Civilwarland is an immersive history theme park in a dystopian future. Elite “normals” and mutant employees seek respite and transformation within flawed and jingoistic depictions of the past.
